This job is responsible for assembling and welding components required to build large steel
trailers.
Responsibilities:
• Read and understand blueprints prior to starting a project.
• Assemble and fabricate large metal structures using various equipment such as MIG
welders, grinders, torches, arc cutting and measuring tools.
• Responsible for manufacturing products according to the specifications and standards of
the customers.
• Check finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the
blueprints.
• Lift and carry heavy items and moving components by operating an overhead crane.
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work overtime as required including Saturdays.
Experience Requirement:
• Welding: 1 year (preferred)
