FOX is seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer / Representative for Rotating Equipment primarily deployed in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of rotating machinery, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and other mechanical systems commonly found in oil and gas operations. The Field Service Engineer / Representative will provide technical support, maintenance guidance, troubleshooting, and training to ensure optimal performance and reliability of critical equipment.
Responsibilities
On-Site Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and guidance to field teams on the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating equipment at client sites.
Equipment Analysis: Conduct condition assessments, performance analysis, and root cause failure analysis of rotating equipment to improve performance and prevent unscheduled downtime.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Lead the diagnosis of mechanical issues and failures, collaborating with clients and field technicians to resolve complex technical problems effectively and efficiently.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance programs, including predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, to extend the lifespan and improve the reliability of rotating equipment.
Installation & Commissioning: Oversee and supervise the installation, commissioning, and start-up of revamped compressor trains, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements.
Training & Development: Provide technical training to clients and in-house personnel on rotating equipment operation, maintenance practices, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports, maintenance records, and service reports documenting all activities, actions taken, and recommendations for future improvements.
Client Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact between the client and the company, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction with services provided.
Continuous Improvement: Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to rotating equipment, offering solutions that drive performance improvements and cost savings.
Working Conditions:
Frequent travel to client sites, including remote and offshore locations, globally.
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, offshore, etc.).
Potential for on-call duty or extended work hours as needed.
